I managed to get this game cheep off steam, although I'm at a point in the game that was such a PITA I pretty much quit (the sewer where you can't use any ranged weapons [and why wouldn't a bow or crossbow work?]) and the cheats don't seem to work.

The Evil Within 2 was awesome - so much that i have replayed it the second time immediately on hard difficulty. The same can not be said about the first game, which was a bag of frustrations and bad design! I am not sure what's your problem - there is so much freedom of movement in the second game! The sewer is just a smal part of the game, and it was easy.. Just get that part done and continue with the game.
