I missed out on a prime opportunity to pick one up from garyinhere last week or so, but at the time I was not sure if that's what I wanted to give as a gift. Its confirmed now so here is what I am looking for-

-Needs to be a 2nd gen or newer
-Minimal scratching on the back, and next to nothing on the screen
-Newest 4.x Firmware installed, no jailbreak wanted.
-No headphones needed unless they are unused :D
-Retail packaging would be GREAT

Would like to have it in my hands and getting it wrapped by 12/22/10 at the latest!

^ Yup. I saw that one when it was posted originally, but it was way outside my preferred budget for second hand :( Gary's was only $85 (2nd gen), I knew I should've bought it then and thought later.
 
Not sure if this is an option for you, but...

NewEgg had this for $190 shipped a while back. My buddy and I split the package: he got the iPod and I got the headphones. When he was looking for pricing on this, I thought he said they had the same deal everywhere. I don't know why NewEgg has it for so much more now :confused:
 
i may have one for you dub,gotta see if my brother will sell his(also need to see if it is in decent condition)
 
Hmm i've got a 2nd gen that i need to order a new backplate for so it will be like brand new and i need a new digitzer. So yeah it will pretty much be fresh but won't be done in time for xmas sorry man :(

If I could have gotten it at $190 I would say this was case closed. No retailer has it at that price anymore though. Thanks though :toast:

well i just realized it has his name engraved on it,so i'm guessing that kinda rules it out as an option?
