Are professional graphics cards advantageous to cryptomining?

By professional graphics cards I mean the uber-expensive Quadro and RTX A6000 models from Nvidia or the Radeon Instinct MI100 ("the world's fastest HPC GPU") from AMD. I realize the cost outlay is crazy (but relatively not so bad now due to the GPUpocalypse) but could the halo performance of these videocards make up for the high initial cost of investment?

There doesn't seem to be anyplace to buy the Radeon Instinct MI100.

The professional cards come pro driver sets that allow them open some options found in rendering software and such, other than that, they're mostly just design and power delivery wise gimped cards. Some of them have all the shaders unlocked but for the sheer amount of cost, you're way better off buying stuff like 2080 Ti.

The Quadro RTX A6000 is imo not an ideal card for crypto-mining because of its cost. If you're serious about crypto-mining, you're better off paying scalpers prices for the 3090s.
The RTX A6000 has slower memory & clock speeds, so it wouldn't make much sense paying the same(or possibly more) compared to what you would pay for a 3090.
