are there any decent free online fps games?

i just want something to goof around with when im bored so does anybody know are there any decent free online fps games?

i dont want any games i need to buy or anything just maybe a download file and start playing kind of game.

keep in mind i dont have anything but a keyboard and mouse so nothing needs joysticks or game controllers please.

nothing at all but i got tired AA2007 because its just a redo of quake 3 arena but i still like it

i wish they would have redone the martian planet version, i liked the way it looked.

battlefield earth was ok too. so was quake 4 and doom but i was looking for simple fast action that was just a click away.

i was trying that Kuma games but the dinohunters game wasnt working. i couldnt jump up as high as other players so i gave up on it. i think it was my processor not fast enough to keep up. something simular i had in mind.

Lol, that's the point of the game, you know, something besides just shooting to make it more interesting. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is free. It uses the Quake 3 engine, it's pretty fun, I prefer the original though but that isn't free.

all i ever get outta AA is the target range level no matter how many times i download it.
trying 2.8.2 full version again but have tried AA several times over last year but got no missions.
what am i doing wrong?

LOL you have to do all of the test before you can go to the battlefield.
(You only have to do that once) The better you do the more things you unlock(I belive).
AA is true to life as a game. It is very good, and there are people that have been playing it for years.

i must have tried it 12 times over the last few years but i look and say "all i get is target range, screw it delete" lol.

i never saw "you have to do all of the test before you can go to the battlefield" anywhere so i figured you had to buy the missions lol. your always expecting a catch with free games.

i always skip the training missions in all games and never read instructions just figure it out as i go.

All u have to do is pass basic training, (obstacle course, rifle range, weapons training and shoot house) takes about 20 minutes and if u cant do it, u shouldn't be playing FPS games, its easy. There is additional training so you can be Medic, drive vehicles, use sniper use special forces weapons etc etc. But these aren't necessary when you start, best to stick to basic weapons first.

Start on a map like Mout Mckenna or Bridge Crossing. Don't rambo it alone you will die fast. It's more like real life, you have to think about it, use smoke, flashes, cover fire etc etc. Its ALL about teamwork, very rarely will 1 or 2 good players win a round on their own, you need to talk to each other and use tactics. I've been playing since version 1.6 (over 3 years) and I still play it. Highly addictive if you're prepared to put some effort in.

Obviously I'm biased but I think everyone should try this game at least a day or two before judging it.
