Hello!

As you all helped me before with a couple of questions, I also thought it was worth a shot to put up this question:

I now have the microsoft ergonomic keyboard:

I love this keyboard very much, cause it works well for typing things, and therefore the split layout, but cause of the normal keys, that feels sturdy, its also an excellent choice for me to play games.

There are a couple of downsides though.

First. You cannot get it anywhere anymore for the reasonable price that i payed for it (around 60 euro). This means that if this one dies eventually, I "have" to move over to a different one i think.

Secondly, this one doesnt come without any form of lighting, not as backlight for the keys, and also no other light effects.

Now this isnt really a big issue, but I would prefer owning and using a keyboard that is the same layout as this one (so with the isle in the middle) but that is at least backlighted with normal lights.
Preferably I would want one that has RGB lightning behind the keys, but it would be a huge upgrade already if there would be one with normal lightning.

So, does anyone know of a keyboard that has this? And where to get it so to say?

Only requirements are that I dont want to have keys that feel like typing on your average laptop (you know these keys that you only press down like a few millimeters) and i also dont want a split keyboard in its entirety, so basicly 2 half keyboards, that you can place where ever you want to have the physical isle in the middle replaced by "nothing" so to say.

I have tried these 2 half keyboards once, and didnt liked it at all, so the above requirements are the only ones.

Thanks in advance for thinking with me!

Cheers from Martijn

Kinesis has a split ergo rgb KB and there's one from Xbows but its money.

You maybe have a link? Or type number from them both?

Btw, the one from kinesis is like i described before as i can see it. 2 keyboards in half. And i prefer just one whole keyboard with the isle in the middle.

Ye like i said, its not one keyboard, but just 1 split in 2 so to say. And cause of my quite slippery desk, i think, even if i can get used to that layout (since it still is a bit different compared to a normal keybord with an isle) it isnt good for me, cause of my quite slippery surface of my desk, where i put on the keyboard.

Edit:

Might have found something myself:

Though i cannot remember anymore of Adesso is a good company.
I think i remember something from years ago thats saying that you preferably should avoid Adesso, but im not sure anymore.

So basicly, does anyone have some experience with the brand Adesso?

But for now, this above one seems the only one that i can find that can fit my needs, where its just 1 whole keyboard, instead of 2 parts.
Maybe i can test it one day at the shop that sells it close to my house :)

But now you all get the idea of what i want, and maybe there are other keyboards like this too? I'd like to hear it, if there is!

Most are physically split now to allow for greater accommodation and customization for the people these are usually prescribed for.

There are still other ergo keyboards in one frame, but finding any RGB doesn't seem to be easy.

Unsure of the key feel and quality of the the keyboard itself, but this is one option. For the price I'd be wary. The reviews do seem positive though.

Thank you!
In fact on their site they sell 2 variants, both with rgb lightning. And the one you linked from amazon they have for only 90 euro instead of 120.
They also sell on their own site a more luxurious one.

So, im going to dig in to it, and then if im satisfied with what i can find online, i think im gonna order the more luxurious one.

Btw, for anyone that is curious about that other one:

And i mean, that one that i linked, seems on paper, exactly what I was looking for.

So again @Super Firm Tofu, thank you so much for pointing out this brand!
