I have an ASRock 775Dual-VSTA motherboard, which has 2 video card slots, one PCIe and one AGP 8x. I have a Radeon x1650 PCIe card in the machine now, and I was curious- I have a Radeon 9850 AGP card that I'm not using right now. I don't need it for additional displays, but I was wondering... if I were to install it in the machine is there any way to slave it to the X1650 card to provide it with additional processing power?

Thanks.

You mean basically crossfire it? Not really, more than likely will give you support for more displays/monitors.

Yeah, I only have 2 monitors and no room for any more. I'm more interested in having an ersatz "video card farm." Didn't figure it could be done but there's no harm in asking the question...

Hey, I've got the same mobo and had the same videocard in AGP as you've got. Served me well, although could've been faster... :)

But no, you can't ''Crossfire'' AGP videocards. From what I know. :p
