No I suppose your right it was Windows based. I guess I have to suck it up that UEFI BIOS can do it too. I love my UEFI BIOS minus THIS issue.
Yeah lots of manufacturers have the windows based programs, I'm thankful for that!

I hate flashing bioses but EZflash (Asus) and @bios (gigabyte) have both done great jobs for me.

they still need to make it save mu F***in overclock profiles, lost them countless times forgetting to write them down or that before an update...not a big fan of the asrock stuff but will have to make do with this
Strange, because in my Asrock 990FX Extreme 4, I am able to save up to 3 different configurations right in the bios. What board do you have?

No.

You would have to download their malicious bios first.

Is this similar to MSI's live update?
No, This enables you to update your BIOS within the Bios itself ! No need even to load your OS!

You are incorrect sir. MSI has a BIOS that allows this its called LIVE Update M-flash. Feel free to google. And maybe do research before posting next time.

Can you give me a link about this "Live update M-Flash"? So far I found only about M-Flash that uses a USB drive with the BIOS on it, but nothing about Internet acces at BIOS level.

Thanks.

No it's NOT !, M-Flash Requires Flash Drive which contains the bios file to flash the bios and doesn't support update through the Internet !

You should do some research before correcting people !
