Gave it a try just for shitsngiggles :)

just cause it had slightly higher stock clocks but i also wanted to see if anything in the bios related to higher core or memory as some bios`s in the past relaxed the memory timings ect ect and you could push them further...

anyway it was pointless for anyone thats going to try it hahahah.....

all you get is a 0.5%boost in frames
all displayports/hdmi ports work
card lights do not work though thats obvious though there may be other ways to get the leds to work ect like "openrgb ect"
-- card has 3 fans and only the left and right fans work, the center fan is not working but temps seemed to be still good and card at full 100% fan was quieter than with all 3 :) but still this is no for me hahah

anyway we all like to experiment, though i have found out one thing, this matrix bios seems to have a hard gpucore voltage lock even with powerlimit up to 120% and voltage slider maxed the card would only do 1075mv max where as the original strix bios i could push that to 1100mv

anyhoooo apart from that there is not much of a reason to run this bios.... and also the memory clocks the exact same so nothing new there either......

----

for those that are planning on buying this 4000 dollar card, stick with your 4090 if i was you and just get a waterblock haha saving 2000 dollars right there...

You obviously know what you are doing and I liked this for the sheer testicular fortitude of messing with top of the range kit. Hope it all goes back to normal bios and so on fine.

haha yeah :) flashed back to strix easy, these days you dont really need to worry as these cards come with bios switch so if you mess up you just need to flick the switch and boot back into windows then flick the switch again with the computer booted and reflash to the broken bios ;)

Easy as that hey? Simple when you know how I suppose. I've a bios switch on my 6900XT, don't mean I'm flashing it ever... Despite the info I've just learned, my anxiety would go through the roof!
Saying that, I did flash my RX470 to a RX570... NOPE not doing it LMAO.
