Last Week I Got A New Videocard Special For Games Like Battlebield2.
I Had A Radeon 9700 Pro And He Did His Job In Games, but I Needed A New One.
So I Bought A Asus 6800 Pro 256 Mb Gamers Edition.
I Installed The Card And Windows Found Him And Works.
But When I Wanna Play Games The Game Start, Screen Go Black And I Hear Monitor
Flash.....than Another Flash And I Am Back At Windows Screen With Icons.
The Old Card 9700 Did Also 1 Flash With Monitor But Than It Works Fine.?(no 2 Flash)
My Specs Are
-p4 3.4 / 1.5gb Mem / Sb Audigity / 400gb Hd /

Please Help Me I Tried All Versions Of Drivers From 61.00 Till New Beta And Forceware
Drivers 80.00 Serie ....(they Have All The Same Problem)
I Wonder If It Is The Nvidia Drivers Because The 9700pro Uses Ati Catalyst Drivers And
That Works Fine.
:)

did you clean out the old Nvidia Drivers? try using Drivercleaner to remove all traces of Nvidia, the "best" method is to a clean format when installing a different GFX card as to remove all device IDs of the previous card

People may tell you to format but dont, it doesnt work. Drivercleaner is best solution.
