ASUS GeForce GTX DirectCU, DirectCU OC, and DirectCU TOP graphics cards now arrive in a special World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria edition. Customers get a bonus Pandaren Monk Pet downloadable character, coinciding with the release of the latest expansion to the globally-popular MMORPG. The TOP version uses a hand-picked GPU operating 157MHz faster than reference, and all cards make sure adventuring stays cool and quiet with DirectCU thermal innovation. Exclusive ASUS DIGI+ VRM and Super Alloy Power contribute greater stability, overclocking, and product longevity, plus GPU Tweak returns to give gamers easy access to diverse card tuning capabilities.

Special bundle for WoW lovers
To mark the launch of Blizzard's Mists of Pandaria World of Warcraft expansion, ASUS offers customers a special collectible Pandaren Monk Pet downloadable character with every GeForce GTX 650 DirectCU, DirectCU OC, and DirectCU TOP graphics card purchase. The unique bonus bears the appearance of a Pandaren, a highly respected yet mysterious nationality from Azeroth, setting of the popular World of Warcraft MMORPG. For WoW players, a Pandaren Monk Pet joining their journeys is certain to offer extra incentive and emotional value as they utilize the flexible and efficient power of ASUS GeForce GTX 650 DirectCU cards to make the most of their adventures.

TOP clocks set to high speed
ASUS factory-tunes the GeForce GTX 650 DirectCU TOP to 1215MHz boost or 157MHz faster than reference. At over 10%, this overclock allows for extra frames per second in games with no user intervention required. TOP edition cards use meticulously-tested GPUs that are hand-picked by engineers to ensure stable performance even with the core set to higher speeds. The standard GeForce GTX 650 DirectCU runs at 1058MHz boost, while the OC edition clocks in at 1137MHz.

Better adventuring with DirectCU thermal innovation
All three participating ASUS GeForce GTX 650 SKUs ship with DirectCU cooling, employing all-copper heatpipes and a larger heatsink to expedite dissipation. The cards operate 20% cooler than reference, plus with their optimized dual fans run 3X* quieter than stock models, allowing for greater stability and more pleasant gaming environments so WoW players can focus on leveling up without distraction.

DIGI+ VRM and Super Alloy Power join the journey for more stable gameplay
As WoW often calls for prolonged gaming sessions, ASUS digital voltage regulation and robust power delivery components are critical in providing reliable computing with longer product lifespans. DIGI+ VRM precision voltage management enhances power efficiency while opening up a wider overclocking margin, just as Super Alloy Power solid state capacitors and MOFESTs guarantee stability and up to 2.5 times the longevity of reference cards. Super Alloy Power further includes concrete-core chokes that eliminate buzzing noise and smooth-out power fluctuations, resulting in the most stable in-class graphics hardware.

Simple yet detailed settings fit for RPG purists
Just as World of Warcraft offers in-depth customization options, ASUS-exclusive GPU Tweak gives customers access to a user-friendly yet intricate range of graphics card tuning capabilities. From within a consolidated interface, customers can alter core and memory speeds, voltages, fan performance, and game-specific profiles. GPU Tweak allows for greater harnessing of the considerable overclocking overhead offered by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 GPU, providing easier access to better performance.

This would make a pretty decent HTPC card provided it's quieter than most 650's

Yeh, I have a 7770 DirectCU for use in a HTPC. It is unbelievable how quiet it is. I can only just hear it if I put my ear next to the case if I start playing a game or render a video.
