I've just upgraded my motherboard to a Asus M2N-SLI.

Everything has eventually gone ok and i have vista 32bit successfully installed. However i can't for the life of me get any sound out of the thing!

I've tried now for four hours on the trot and still no luck!

The drivers are up to date and working, all volume is turned up and when i click the windows volume controls i see the little equaliser going for it so sound is present!

However nothing comes out of my speakers no matter what jack i plug them into. Oh and the speakers work as i have tested them on my ipod.

Has anybody come across this before or have i been unlucky and purchased a crap board?

Thanks in advance!
