Hello:)

I´ve go the problem that my MINI-PC got an ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe. And that one is officially not WIN 10 compatible.:banghead:

But i´ve read in some threads (think so ) here that these board works on WIN 10.

So i did the registry here an now can someone help me? Is there a chance to keep this konfiguration for WIN 10? If yes, with wich driver?

If not I need some ideas for a replacement Motherboard. But no more ASUS!!:kookoo:

You can see my config in my system specs. The casing is full filled (!):twitch:

This PC costs in year 2012 about 1500,- EUR, so i dont wanna by a complete new one.

Thank you very much for some proposals.:respect:

Sorry for my bad english
Greetings from Germany

Windows 10 will have the Drivers but I'd recommend using the program called 3DP. It'll search for Drivers and lead you to Download Page. Been using it for a year now and hasn't let me down. It's FREE too (Been around since 1994)

Where did you get that from? The only thing mentioned on ASUS website is that there may not be some drivers available (e.g. ASUS being lazy about their product support once again), but AFAIK this platform is fully Windows 10 compatible. Most of the peripherals should work out of the box, including WiFi/BT, LAN, Audio and even that stupid AsMedia USB 3.0 controller (on my old AsRock embedded boards ASM1061 even worked at boot for KB and bootable USB stick).
There are no Win10 drivers on ASUS website for this board, but I'm 100% sure that as soon as you get it connected to internet, Windows Update will gather the rest of your device drivers (chipset, graphics, ME etc). Alternatively you can download chipset drivers from one of their "supported" Z77 boards, like P8Z77-V.

You can look at the Maximus Board for a chipset driver, they all are the same Z77, nothing customized between them.

And Intel's website doesn't have them...

It went EOL at the end of last year, and Intel removed all drivers for that platform for some reason.

Forced obsolescence is their scam

Windows 10 is likely to work fine even without "official support". You might need to update one or two drivers manually (from the componet manufacturer). In the worst case scenario, most of Windows 7 drivers still work on Windows 10. Who knows, its possible everything will work perfectly out of the box.

Most any Z77 driver (Esp a generic one) should work, I believe Eidairaman has it covered above.
