    Man, the 2GB 5870's are just too pricey. They need to come down. Performance wise, the GTX480 is a better buy at this price level.

    I was really set on this until I saw evga is doing a backplated 480. Now it's a toss up since the price is about the same.

    Edit* They currently have 45 in stock.

    AMD is comfortable at their Price Level, just like how NV was with the 8800 Series. I knew the priceing was coming because of the way of recovery from the 2900 series was headed. I also believe that they are working on the 5990, 5890, 5840, which will phase out the previous boards.

    Agreed. Performance is king and a GTX480 outperforms this card no doubt.

    TBH how nice the card looks n all, I wont buy it. Ill grab a Powercolor or MSI, Sound doesnt bother me much as when im gaming I have my speakers turned up.

    Down to 34... so if I had to guess the stock will last 2-4 days then probably be out for at least a week if not more.

    Edit* Nvm. They're restocked up to 91 already. Should be plenty for all.
