Asus ROG Z690 Maximus Extreme Memory Detect Code 55 Issue

My specific system changes over the past year. Installed CPU contact frame and upgraded PSU from 850w to 1500w. You probably have a faulty mobo especially if you have tried similar fixes to myself.

Yes that is probable

... but I have seen so many other people complaining about this problem, most of them stopped using icue. I will stop buying Asus products.

Have you considered sending it back via RMA?

Doing an RMA in Italy is not worth my time.
They don't accept rma from the customers and you need to bring the motherboard to the shop where you bought it. Then the shop analyze the mobo, if they can reproduce the problem they send it back to Asus and Asus here is known to bring you back the same product you sent after two months.

Never more an Asus product.

My problem is different.
It's Corsair ice that scrambles my memory spd while using Corsair dominator memory.

When the problem happen, pc continue to work ok without problems but the RGB on the ram stops working.
In that moment if I open cpuz the SPD of the ram is blank, if I reboot the pc it hangs on detecting memory and I need to force shut down to continue using the pc

This happen even on stock settings.
So it has nothing to do with ASUS eh?

Make sure your on latest bios and try getting a contact frame for the cpu. I no longer get the issue.
Hi,
