I bought this router from Newegg, it is a refurbished RT-AC87U, so it is labeled RT-AC87R. I bought it hoping that eventually there would be a Tomato firmware that supports it, but it looks like that is never going to happen. However, DD-WRT does support it, so I have flashed the router with the latest version of DD-WRT. It works wonderfully with only two minor issues. The first issue is the 2.4GHz LED on the front of the router does not light up, however, the 2.4GHz wireless works perfectly. The other issue is DD-WRT does not read the temperature for one of the wireless radios(I assume the 2.4GHz radio), it always reports 0°C. It also has a minor cosmetic defect on the top, visible in the picture. That isn't a smudge, it is a defect in the plastic.
I'm asking $100 Shipped to CONUS I take Paypal or Zelle.
