HI, I have been a lurking reader for a while and now come to say hello 
So please forgive me if this is the wrong forum section but I am also hoping someone could shed some light on the techpowerup BIOS for the ATI 5870 E6 2048MB card.
I have for a while been suffering from active display port to dvi adaptor issues, and one thing I was looking at investigating was to update the BIOS of the gfx card if it would help.
I sported the above BIOS however I cannot find any informaiton about the BIOS, what does it do? What are the changes compared to the default BIOS?
What exactly does this BIOS fix?
I am a little hesitent on upgrading a gfx card BIOS, and would like to know more about what it is I am flashing to the card.
Where can I find all the documentation for this?
I have conducted a forum search with "ati 5870 2048 bios" however it just seems to find everything that matches any 1 of those 4 words including listing threads about nvidia fermi cards
