Josh over at Penstarsys.com goes through a lot of trouble trying to make sense of what seems like a doomed ATI product. He writes that with a few "tricks" of the trade, the Crossfires shouldn't be as limited as NVIDIA and others make them out to be. The article tries valiantly to put ATI Crossfire in a more favorable light, but admits finally that Crossfire is "essentially a knee jerk reaction to SLI" and that "NVIDIA's SLI is more flexible." Lastly, "CrossFire has not been released yet, and SLI in its present state is a far cry from what it was when introduced nearly a year ago." ATI is playing catch up, but this isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. It's going to take some time.
