ATI demonstrates 512Mb on a X850 XT

Even though ATI has no official plans to release a 512Mb X850 they did show one at the Texas gaming festival in Dallas. ATI claims the added memory results in 20-30% more performance in todays most demanding games.

Unfortunately none of ATI's partners have announced to produce 512Mb models so far. This doesn't mean you can't spend half a months salary on such a card in the near future though.
