I Recently just bought a new mother board GA-78LMT-S2P, new CPU AMD Phenom II X6 1100T processor and 8gb of ram. MY problem is that when ever i install my ati driver FROM the amd website the installation log at the end says that it installs a GRaphics 3000 series driver. When clearly i picked 5000 series win7 64bit.. Whats happening??? this is a brand new motherbaord btw but i've used the graphics card before its a XFX radeon 5770.

Go into the bios and disable the onboard GPU.

Sounds like your using the integrated graphics, go into your bios, and change display from onboard to PCI-E and see if that helps. Make sure your monitor is plugged into the back of the 5770 and not on the motherboard I/O panel too.

do you guys noe what section in the bios exactly. Where i can find that option and turn it to PCI-e and waht not

Onboard devices or something like that.

uhh.. i will go check now and see if i can find anything .. will be back if i don't lol thank you for replying..

ok im pretty sure i turned it of now.. DXDIAG is showing 753mb memory on my XFX 5770 is that normal my 5770 is a 1gb card. I've got 8GB Ram btw... and i've read somewhere that someone with the exact same card with 8GB ram also has the card showing only 753mb memory in DXDIAG. Soo... im just wondering if this is normal and okay?

Do a clean of the current 11:11 drivers and then reinstall, if it still doesn't work try installing/upgrading to the latest version of .Net

And don't forget to use the thanks button ;)
