After bashing Nvidia for their dual slot coolers with the NV30 series, ATI themselves in recent times have been forced to upgrade to the larger, but more capable dual slot cooling solutions. It is now being reported that ATI's next generation graphics solution will be using dual slot cooling, much like the company's current flagship X850 series. On a side note, I personally couldn't care less as I've never had to use more than three PCI slots and I don't know anyone that has ever had them all completely full. So in this writer's opinion, if it means we're getting more performance and a healthier card, then so be it; I'll make the sacrafice in slottage. Feel free to leave me comments if you feel differently or are offended by my 'careless' approach.

Here's the full story.
