ATI Overdrive unsupported?

I have an x850 pro agp and iv seen people with x850 xt's have compatibility with ATI overdrive... im wondering why i dont see this option? also mine is an ATI brand x850 pro
 
That's one of the XT series' extra features. I think you can unlock that feature with the ATI version of Coolbits (I don't know what it's called though). I'm not sure though, it's really kinda dumb. Use ATItool to detect 3d games and use a MUCH higher overclocked speed that you make yourself.
 
hmm so if i flashed to an XT bios, i would get that feature eh? :D i already use rivatuner, but i wanna test out overdrive :P
 
The ATI's coolbit toll is "called" flashing of XT BIOS. If you are with AGP card it probably can be unlocked to 16 pipes. If it is PCIX probably you will remain with 12 pipes but if flash it you will have 12 pipe XT card with OVERDRIVE feature ;) .
