today i join this forum. because i need a driver for ATI Radeon Display Card.

Plz Help me

For such an old card like the 9200 I found the ATI 4.12 drivers to work the best. They are not the latest drivers from ATI but that 9200 is not the latest card either. You can download any drivers you want from ATI site here at this link. http://www.ati.com/

Actually i have tried it in www.ati.com, ihave downloaded the Catalyst Software Suite from Radeon 9200 series but it is not installed properly.But it is saying to check for the softwares & hardware requirements. Can any of us help me by giving the proper link /proper driver.And also give me the steps to install the driver.Is it necessary to install any other software before installing the drivers(Catalyst Software Suite).

Its an urgent one Please help in this regard

well i went to the ATI/AMD website and you can use the Catalyst® 6.5 Software
Download Display Driver 1st then restart and if you want the Catalyst Control Center download it

Id say go for XG Warcat drivers.

While installing the Catalyst Software Suite from Radeon 9200 series from www.ati.com,
i am getting the warning message "Setup is installed properly but please check the hardware & software requirements for the software installed".Then the device manager still showing the driver for AGP card is not installed.Will there be any compatbility probelm for the p4 motherboard & the ati agp card 9200se (128 mb).

Please help.

then it would ask to restart see it that helps

my 9200/9250/8500 cards all worked best with omega4.12's tryed newer drivers and alwase ended up back with the 412 omegas

ps u cant use the 6x drivers with the 9200 they only support 9500 and up cards now, if you try and use the newer drivers it will crash ur system on boot most likely

I just purchased a Gecube 9250 (pci version) for my media centre pc so i could hook it up to telly, ati website said install catalyst 6.11, did and everything works perfectly.
Do you have the Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 installed?

to the op, are you getting errors installing just the driver? Catalyst control center may require microsoft .net framework to install, not sure if it's needed on the older drivers or not.

Well, I was just looking for a recent topic about this old card

I've gotten hold of this card, but it appears to be missing some capacitors. Could anyone who still has this card please check what type of capacitors are on the marked places on this image? http://tsign.mine.nu/temporary/missing-capacitors.gif

And, to not completely hijack this topic. For drivers your best bet is to look for Omega Drivers v3.8.252.

Starting from Catalyst 6.6 and up, the following cards/chipsets (including Mobility) are no longer supported by the ATI or Omega Drivers:

Radeon 7k Series
Radeon 8k Series
Radeon 9k-9250 Series

For these cards please use the Omega Drivers v3.8.252 or older, thank you.
