have you got the correct settings in bios? i went to the asrock site n checked out the manual.

here's what u have to do.
-press f2 during power on self test (post).
-when in bios setup utility go to the advanced tab.
-go to chipset configuration.
-select init graphic adapter priority to agp/pci/onboard.

hope this helps. :)

To me I would say that the graphics card you are trying is not supported by Asrocks AGI

http://www.asrock.com/support/AGI8X_LIST/p4i65gv.htm

The above link contains the "latest" 775i65GV AGI 4x/8X VGA card Support List

I myself at the moment am searching high and low to find a "good" graphics card for this M/B..I have only been able to find a few on the list.

It's the freaking AGI (Asrock Graphic Interface). I just bought one together with a Power Color Radeon 9250. The video quality is incredibly frustrating. I replaced the 9250 vidcard with a Sparkle GeForce FX 5600XT and the video quality got a li'l better. However, it's still not running AGP 8X! I read in a review somewhere that even if a compatible card (as per Asrock's site) was installed, it still wasn't running AGP 8X! The reason probably is because it's not a real AGP. It's like passing through the PCI bus instead (correct me if I'm wrong).

I'm trashing my Asrock 775i65GV mobo. I'm getting an ECS 915P-A so I can keep using my Intel LGA775 processor, DDR400 RAM and SATA drive. However, ECS' 915P-A AGP Express slot is not a real AGP slot too. I think it'll give me about the same bad performance as Asrock's AGI. Therefore, I'll be getting a GeForce 6600 PCI-E vidcar. My Radeon 9250 sucked anyway.
