I allways use ATI TOOL 0.24 to check the temperatures of my Radeon 9800 XT (not overclocked) with Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 3 Rev.2. Lately I changed the following settings in the SETTINGS menue under FAN CONTROL:
Enabled: Override Fan speeds current speed: 100%
Enabled: Fixed percentage: 100%
Nothing has changed after the modification. Neither the temperatures are droped down nor the Silencer worked slowly. So I has changed the fixed percentage again to 100% and a half minute later to 20%. Normally you hear the silence but there was no really modification.
What´s wrong? In fact the fan of the graphics card should be work slowly when I decrease the fixed percentage from 100 percent to 20%. But they did´nt do that ;(
Can anyone help me please?
