ATI tool 0.27 stores a core clock but sets the wrong value when loaded

The ATI tool 0.27 is working fine for me except of one thing: It stores the 850 Mhz for the core in the profile, but when I load that profile, the setting is set back to 837 Mhz. I know that the tool often goes down to a suiteable value if needed, but normally the one that can be SET is also be able to be stored in the profile and being set again by loading that profile. So the 850 Mhz core is the only setting I must set manually every time bacause the profile that stored the 850 Mhz sets 837 Mhz instead. The graphics card (ATI mobility Radeon 2600 XT) however runs very well with the 850 Mhz core clock. Am I doing something wrong perhaps?

I've got a HIS HD 3870 IceQ 3 Turbo (850.00/1190.00) default. It also does 837.00/1188.00 when running normally. I just accepted it as normal because they all do that. I have not tampered with profile or tried to overclock my card. It runs Cool and Quiet and there is nothing to fix. I didn't know that the 2600 XT was a 850.00MHz screamer also!

I found a little trick how to solve the problem: The profile values are stored in the .ini file, so I set the core clock value in the .ini file to 855 Mhz. When choosen from the profile menu, ATI tools steps down to 850 Mhz and everything is okay. BTW: the Radion 2600 XT runs very well at 850 Mhz core and 846 Mhz memory clock here!

ATITool 0.27b4 is great but I can hardly wait for the next version. It would make a nice Christmas present!
