I have a XFX 8800 GTS 640Mb and I've installed the 169.04 drivers.
I'm facing a strange problem here... at my current OC ( 684 / 1566 / 950), I tried to scan for artifacts at the most sensitive level and it didnt show any errors for almost 1.5 hours - I was almost convinced that this is very stable OC and after a few mins, just to re-check, I ran the test again and to my surprise, it shows an error of 1 pixel within 20 Mins (at the same clocks) ! I dont have any problems or artifacts in any games, 3dm06 etc..
Any ideas on this ? What should I do ?
I'm not using the latest ATITOOL as it causes my System to crash.. it doesnt show my clocks and the sliders show 0 and so I'm using 0.26 only... Is the latest Artifact Scanner improved and can it help ? Is it that the latest ATITOOL is'nt compatable with the 8800 GTS series ?
