Does the performance improve if you force P-Cores via set affinity in windows task manager? or must they be strictly disabled?
 
When this game hits the ten dollar bin in a year I will probably grab it. I think it looks fun personally, but that is because it reminds me of White Sands fantasy world from Brandon Sanderson the famous author.

So I will get to pretend I am in that universe so to speak.

6 GB videocard could be interesting here, seeing that all modern 8GB have enough core for this game maybe RTX 2060 could be interesting

This is not the game that runs poorly on recent intel processors, why not test it on the 7800X3D?

I'm a long time lurker so I'm pretty sure he decided to invest on the Intel platform instead of AMD (he changed it when the X3D 7000 wasn't released yet), imo a wrong decision, but it's not a biggie. In the case of suboptimally coded games, it helps a lot though. The X3D AMD processors are real gaming CPUs, whereas Intels stuff (or other AMD stuff without X3D) is just performance by tryharding.

I bet the Radeon would improve more from this than the GeForce cards. But generally, it looks like AMD needs to bring an optimized driver for this, it's just underperforming compared to the usual performance.

Good or bad, it's better to know the real GPU performance.
 
The quality of the "Low" preset textures in close may be some of the worst quality Low textures I've seen in any modern game. It's almost as if the Texture LoD is reversed. Even the "Medium" setting textures look terrible.
