my HTPC works great but for some reason, during blueray playback only, the audio is VERY VERY low. i have to turn up my tv almost all the way to hear it.

i've tried digging around in the audio properties and have yet to find anything to help.

im using powerdvd 9 and the previews are LOUD as hell but when you play the movie its super quiet.

i cannot find the option to select 2ch instead of 5.1 in powerdvd so perhaps you guys have a better answer?

will this work?

On your power DVD home menu, go to settings, audio settings, then change "2 speakers" to HDMI. and then make sure you press apply

I've never had a problem with my sound via powerdvd and blu-ray.. Hope it helps

There is a few people over the web that says there is suppose to be a option before you start a movie that is "taken away" once you start..

I'll install and look into it.
