Yes, currently 2 available on newegg. Though why would anyone buy it? It costs the same as a 980Ti, performs worse, consumes more power, has been described as annoyingly loud, and it doesn't overclock for shit...

I'm guessing @xkm1948 is happy he read the reviews before just buying the card based off AMD's lies.

Haha you are right. Big let down from team red this time.

And it seems they are jacking up price as well. Seriously??? $670~$680?

If these Fury X price drops to 550, I may entertain a bit. At their current marked up price. Hell f*uck NO!

Holy crap - just read the review here from W1zzard. Not impressed at all with Fury's numbers. I know they will hammer out better optimized drivers in the next few weeks/months, but really? Come on big Red! Not beating 980 Ti? Really? Even at 4k? And only ~5FPS better than the R9 390x in 4k BF4.....

Could it be the 4GB limitation on HBM that's holding it back? From the info released from AMD I expected it to be at least be equal if not surpassing Titan X/980 Ti in everything.

I'm facing a new issue here. HD7950 is just enough, but not quite. GTX 980/Fury X are more, but not that much more. I like AMD and the futures they have, but then again we have to give NVIDIA a credit here for full DX12 support.

Seeing how I wouldn't really benefit much on my 1080p from either, my second alternative is to go with better DX12 support and lower price. Which means either vanilla R9 Fury, R9 Fury Nano or simply going with NVIDIA. This is so confusing...

Unless you're going 1440p or higher, I'd go for a 980 or a 390X. In the UK the price jump from 980/390X to Fury/980ti is about £150 (after you remove pre-order and promo stuff).

That's what I was thinking. R9-390X turns out to be the best bang for buck at the moment in a way. Reaches nearly GTX 980 performance (or even exceeds it in some cases) for price slightly higher than GTX 970.

Fury X seems to be only different in fan sticker and box. Would appreciate if they'd tweak the fans even further and replace them with even better ones. Stick a damn Noiseblocker fan on that thing and increase the temperature threshold to 60 or even 70°C (instead of 50°C). That would make it absolutely silent.

Not sure if I want lower performance from AMD or broken drivers from Nvidia.... Decisions, decisions.....

AMD must have shipped very few cards... It appears very few people have been able to actually buy one.

To my shock I'm actually leaning towards R9-390X. Though I'm now just waiting for vanilla R9 Fury and R9 Fury Nano to be released to see how they are priced.

Or drivers that you have to wait a year for

And what drivers have you waited for a year? If you're talking about WHQL ones, let me tell you something, that WHQL means nothing. In 15 years, I've had same number of problems as with WHQL drivers. None.

Hmm, lets see here how about we count the days between the two most recent drivers and see if that adds up to 365:cool:

I think I am dying inside lol, but honestly they are great cards. As it is though if I were you why not just wait awhile longer. If you get the bug I am sure the used market will have some at a better price.

Same here running 3 way CFX. Personally never really had much of an issue with any drivers in years minus 1 or two games that have issues (Both those are generally the games fault).

SLI is working great for me too! That's not the issue. The issues (past 3 drivers) are well documented. Overall, to me GPUs are going through a dark age.

I just don't get it why they don't offer R9-390X with "old" WindForce 3X cooler. I don't have much trust in this two fan versions...

Why would you want 390X? Which is basically just glorified 290X? The Hawaii core is not 4K capable so no use to pair it up with 8GB of vRAM.

Software A lot.
Benchmark Scores Its fast. Enough.
Looks like Wizz and every other reviewer has confirmed that is not the case. Oh well.
Its within a couple percent overall. Soo.....

But until they get the odd game performance figured out, and more overclocking ability, they are not worth it.
