Axiomtek rolls out a fanless embedded system in palm size featuring Intel Atom Cedarview processor N2600 1.6 GHz dual core with Intel NM10 Express chipset. The eBOX530-830-FL has an IP40-rated and rugged aluminum & cold-rolled steel enclosure to endure severe environment. It supports one VGA or one DisplayPort interface to fit more video resources. To resist extreme working temperatures and severe environments, its fanless operation design has unique thermal solution that allows it to perform noiseless at operating temperatures of -10°C to +50°C. The eBOX530-830-FL compact system is an application-ready platform that targets for nearly any field of space-limited and mobile applications like in-vehicle PCs, in-flight infotainment systems, digital signage, entry-level gaming, medical healthcare, and other automation & embedded applications.

"Axiomtek develops eBOX530-830-FL as a versatile solution with benefits of small footprint and higher performance-per-watt for sophisticated embedded solutions" said Ray Chang, Product Manager of Product & Marketing Division at Axiomtek. "It is a super compact fanles embedded system measuring only 160.4 x 135.4 x 60 mm making this system especially fit on to space limited environment, yet still capable of offering rich I/O connections. Many systems have no separate button for resetting; Axiomtek's eBOX530-830-FL offers a dummy-proof reset button to reboot the system forcibly which increases work efficiency. In addition, its CFast slot can endure vibration up to 3Grms and the lockable DC-in connector can also significantly reduce the impact of vibration & shock."

This palm-size system has a full set of I/O including one 10/100/1000 Ethernet port, two COM ports (RS-232), four USB 2.0 ports, audio (Line-out/Mic-in) and optional VGA or DisplayPort interface. The eBOX530-830-FL supports one 2.5" SATA HDD drive bay and one CFast card slot for high-capacity storage, and is available with one 204-pin DDR3-800 SO-DIMM system memory maximum up to 2 GB. There are two LED system indicators thoughtfully: one green LED for system power-on and one orange LED for HDD active. In addition, the rugged embedded system supports Windows 7 Embedded and Linux operation system. For flexible installation, it can be din-rail-mounted, wall-mounted, VESA-mounted or stand-mounted. Additionally, the built-in Watchdog Timer can reset the system after a crash or system error.

The CE-certified eBOX530-830-FL with extreme compact footprint is available now. In addition, the eBOX product line consists of an extensive assortment of quality embedded systems with variety for any requirement and budget. For more information, visit the product page.
