Well you better get to liking it. Looks like SWBF3 is going the way of matchmaking. You know what that means for BF5. BF4 is the last "decent" BF game that DICE is going to make.

I like how it's been down voted to negative 162 points. SWBF3 is going to be a disaster and BF5 is going to flop on launch if they use the same system (since they will because DICE does not learn anything).

well, i guess the game is going to be a no buy from me. though it was already teetering on the edge of that to begin with anyway. No doubt the game will be a massive hit for console players who are used to that kind of system

Battlelog is the one decent thing that has came from BF3 and 4. Maybe you don't remember how crappy the server browser was in BF2, hell, it makes ARMAs browser look fabulous. BC2 was an improvement but nothing compared to Battlelog. Granted, you rarely herald anything that is positive, but most people with more than a handful of hours in BF3 & 4 are converts to the system.

I gotta agree. I HATED battlelog to begin with. Now it feels natural. Shame to see it go.

Ever seen BC2's ingame server browser? It did start off as a bit of a lemon but it greatly improved over time.

It also looks like the dusting of air vehicles will be fixed in the next server patch.........so probably a couple weeks.

I also find it funny how people are complaining about the night map. I remember when it was first mentioned that DICE LA was going to look in to it. There were a few that chimed in and said that there were night maps in BF2 and they failed miserably. Obviously no one wanted to listen and informed them how wrong they were because this time it's "different".

edit: On a side note, if I got a server when Dragon Valley came out, would this interest most here? Right now I'm thinking Dragon Valley, Shanghai, and Caspian in a 3 map rotation based on some polls I've seen. Or we could just do a Dragon Valley only map if most are interested.

No butchering, from what I played of it on CTE. It was beautiful, and FELT like the old map. It wasn't like the remade BF3/4 Karkand/Oman maps, it was damn near just like the old one except prettier.

I'd play a dragon map every chance I could, but I usually roll with hardcore as of late. I also have more fun on Propaganda than Shanghai, but there are less vehicles.

Well, the first pass in CTE was really, really good. It was like someone other than DICE made the map. You know, like someone who actually played the map in BF2 and then made the map for CTE.

Guys, is anyone getting significantly lower framerates after the patch under Dx11? Previously I was able to run at 60fps most of the time with 130% resolution scale, but now I'm barely getting 50 at 100%. Just... wtf?

Well ever since going Windows 10, and upgrading drivers + resetting my BIOS so no more CPU OC, my performance in battlefield has been halved. So shitty. I blame it on Nvidia though for lack luster Kepler support in current drivers, and you are forced to use them with Windows 10.

Went from 70-80fps average to now 35-40fps.

EDIT: Resolved for the most part. Memory usage issue. Usage was at 50% before starting the game up. Rebooted and started the game right when it booted back up, and FPS back to the 70s.

Is it on all maps or just some? I know after the Rush changes that Shanghai in DX11 halved my fps of what i used to get and even of what I got in Mantle.

No issues here once I got the SLI driver update. Also more night maps please. Gunny and I talked about a proper night map once and DICE delivered. I really like this new map. Wish they would make shanghai.

My problem with fps was related to Afterburner. I still can't get vsync to work under Mantle, though. Also, for some weird reason I am not getting ridiculously higher framerate than under Dx11 anymore either (last time I tried I got like 90 in a spot where I'd get 50 or so with Dx11). This game is such a voodoo...

You should really get W10. My fps have improved even from W8.1. Now I can get, usually, 80+ with three screens with Mantle on the 10 original maps. All the DLC maps are kind of hit and miss.

On a side note:

1)I love jdams now. I don't know why it took me so long to learn, but now I no longer try to slow down on a pass, they hit almost every time.
2) Is there any love in here for Obliteration? I wish it was popular like it was when the game launched. I find it extremely fun even when getting destroyed since the game will go real quick.
