be quiet!, the market leader in PC power supplies in Germany since 2007, announces Shadow Wings 2 White, a white-colored version of the silent fan series that was first released in January 2019. Its stunning look makes Shadow Wings 2 White a perfect fit for color-themed builds, while keeping a running computer system quiet and cool. With the new injection-molded white version, the Shadow Wings 2 series is the first mass-produced fan from be quiet! offered in two different colors.
Whisper-Quiet Cooling

Shadow Wings 2 White offers a slow-spinning and highly optimized case fan and the most silent fan series in the be quiet! lineup. It relies on an array of features to keep its noise level no higher than 15.9 dB(A) at maximum speed. Airflow-optimized fan blades provide reliable cooling and whisper-quiet operation. In addition, an anti-vibration mounting system and rubberized fan frame ensure vibrations are isolated and not transferred to the case frame. Shadow Wings 2 White comes in 120mm and 140mm sizes. Maximum rotational speed for the 120mm models is 1,100 rpm, and 900 rpm for the 140mm version.

Durable and Easy to Use
be quiet!'s high-grade, rifle bearing technology ensures a lifespan of up to 80,000 hours. Push pins make the installation process as simple as possible. The fans come with either a 3-pin connector or 4-pin PWM connector for automatic speed control via motherboard.

Shadow Wings 2 White will become available in North America at the beginning of October, and at the beginning of September in other regions. The cooling fan will be priced at €15.90 / £13.99 / $16.90 (120mm), €16.90 / £14.99 / $16.90 (120mm PWM), €17.90 / £15.99 / $18.90 (140mm), and €18.90 / £16.99 / $18.90 (140mm PWM).

You do realise that manufacturer's claims and reality are not always one and the same, right? :)

Umm:
A. it's 50 CFM
B. it's 900 RPM
Going with the white theme they shouldn't have had the black ring.
Their white cases come with black accents, I assume they want to match the fans to them.

what i am confused about is that most sites/videos show connecting multiple fans and/or rgb splitters to the header......the mb manual shows that the header can output 12v 3 amps...will it burn out a single rgb fan if connected..?

Love the white and may pick up some 140's for case exhaust. I would like a little more RPM's though. In most instances my fans run under 1,000 RPM, but I like to be able to go higher if needed. 1,200 for the 140mm and 1,500 for the 120mm would work better for me.

The detachable rubber corners should be effective (although not new: Noiseblocker Multiframe has been around for years) but the mounting pins (rubber? metal?) look to be the only way of attaching the fans and they're a proprietary design: better not loose/break them.

one of my favourite fan brands, reliable and quiet, they lack all the RGB craziness but work extremely well

I've been saying the same exact thing for years now, everytime I see stuff about so-called "white" components, which to date, 99.99% have been some combo of white with other colors, mostly black.... and IMHO, this is blatantly FALSE advertising in it's purest form......  :(

Seriously though, would the extra nickel's worth of pigment really killed their profit margins or wtf ???????

I just don't get why this is soooo hard for the mfgr's to understand.

Well, at least the prices are reasonable :)

I do agree, I think the black part of it is fine if you're going for that common Storm trooper build but I'd prefer all white if going for a clean, white build.
