Been gone a while.. GPU prices questions.

Maybe I didnt take notice a month ago or 2 ago but I feel like there is a lot more instock cards on newegg. I also filtered by in stock and sold by newegg. Im also seeing some that are "on sale" so it looks like either they have released more inventory for the holidays or demand maybe easing a slight bit. I have for sure noticed a increase in RTX 3060 cards at best buy. There was 1 or 2 in stock near me and they sat for a few days.

Was looking at GPU prices and since ive been gone they seem to have skyrocketed. Havent looked at hardware in maybe a year but even used 1060s etc, have gone up substantially since even 3 years ago. What caused this? Is it expected to last?

Demand still the same throughout the year, problem here is manipulation and in many countries governments imposed people to "stay at home", so many people at home without working means no good or components being produced and at same time governments printing money and handing out without any return, meaning more money in the market and no working from people = inflation, economics 101, simple. So this high price will continue as long as the manipulation from crooks and people stay at home without working.
