There's a great online tool for testing your internet upload/download speeds called http://www.speedtest.net/
However, does anyone know of a similar free/shareware tool for testing LOCAL network speed.
I've just set up a wireless network bridge between 2 buildings (Netgear WG302 to WG302) and I'd like to test the TRUE bandwidth between the segments, not the "theoretical" wireless connection speed.
