I have a beQuiet Purebase 500DX case (as part of my new PC) and its supposed to have addressable RGB lighting. It has a 3 pin plug and my motherboard is supposed to have pins/ a controller to make it work. The mobo is a Asus ROG Strix B550-F gaming. The lights work ok and do their thing when I push the button on the case to cycle them but so far they don't seem to be controllable from the mobo or synchronise with the lights on the board.

Any clues guys?

It's OK guys....I am a village idiot. I figured it out. Press and hold the lights control button on the case for 15 seconds and it goes into synch mode.
Sweet.
Thanks for all the advice!!!

Hehe, glad you worked it out ;)

How are you finding the case otherwise? I've been eyeing it off for an eventual new build.

It's a really nice case. Great quality, good extras with it, nice fans, it looks really good and building in it was easy, easy to get nice tidy cables too. The RGB is nice, very sporty and futuristic. I really looked into cases and this one did stand out as being one of the best available currently, in my opinion. I am glad I bought it.

I have the same case and motherboard, are you me lol
We made a good choice then! Actually I am pretty happy with it all now. The new PC has been working hard without a hiccup for a while and my confidence in it is growing by the day.

Been fantastic for me especially in the airflow department. Easy to build in too and the RGB doesn't hurt your eyes

Does the 500DX feel like a good quality build? I'm thinking of upgrading from my Antec Three Hundred U3 which is a nice solid steel case, but it only has room for a dual-fan graphics card and there's zero cable management space. The 500DX looks like it has good allowance for airflow, dust filtering and top exhaust (which I prefer over rear exhaust). Looks like it would be a worthy successor.

Go for it. GamersNexus called it one of their favorite cases.
