It's always better/safer if you use DDU first and Hey BTW If you want to try Latest Modded drivers for (unsupported-GPU's)AMD you can check NimeZ drivers mod.....I been using it for my R9 Fury and so far they work really good but considering that you are not playing games then maybe it's not worth a hustle......GL

Personally, I've never had a problem installing a newer version of Adrenalin over the old one, but I guess using DDU wouldn't hurt. Or you could just uninstall the current version manually.
