Yea, How cool can a Zig s1283v keep an i7 on 4ghz ?? well to answer to that question, you would need to know vcore... I'm guessing 1.3x V...

By spikes of voltage I mean when overclocking you don't up the vcore a shit ton as I have seen guys do that a fry the chip.

at least with air cooling that's true... Hey I got a question, say an i7 is running at 3.3 with a 1.4 V vcore cuz it sucks compared to one running at 4ghz with the same vcore, are the temperatures the same on load?

I was gonna say go with 3x2 gig memory but looked like you had you mind made up. Make sure you have enough power supply to run sli if you want it.

750W is plenty

allen, if you can link me to somewhere that says 6gb ram is useful for gaming on 1920x1080 then I'll probably change my mind right away... It's not set in stone!

Well, he just told me to make sure the PSU has enough power to let me upgrade, for example SLIing 2 260s... and I said that if I ever wanted to I would have much more than enough power

For a gpu I say 260 or a 4870 1gb, however if you have extreame power sickness like me get a 4870x2/gtx-285/295.

I heard only doom 3 uses 1gb of video card memory.. is this true? what benefits do I get to buy a 2gb 4850x2 over a 1gb (the 2gb is actually 1gb x2 therefore acts like a 1gb and the 1gb acts like a 512mb)... remember, bang/buck is really important to me
