prefer asus because of the good fan software other than that price is below 100€ which is less than 105$

I have the Msi 970 gaming and really like it. the only thing I don't love about it is the cpu vcore is offset based.

I'll tell you, I have an ASUS M5A990X Evo, with an 8 phase(6+2) VRM. It could not keep an 8-core FX chip stable at anything higher than 4.2GHz. It tried two different Motherboards with an FX-8300, 8320, and 8350. I bought the AsRock 990FX Extreme 9 and every chip did 4.6GHz in it.

I'd look at atleast the 990FX Extreme 6 with the 10(8+2) Phase.

Hahaha this is a joke right? IF, big if, that software works at all.

I'm with @Ungari, save and wait for AM4.

Go with a 990FX based board all the 970 based boards I have tried have trouble going over 4.2ghz

I just ordered the Msi 970 gaming yesterday.

Reading it's a great board just keep fans on the vrms and you should have no worries.

I helped a mate build his PC a couple of months ago.

FX 8350 @4.5ghz

MSI GTX 970

MSI 970 gaming

16gb ddr3

Corsair H60

an extra fan blasting the VRM area did the trick, alls well so far.

This is the least I would run an FX 8 core in.

Post above is garbage. I've seen plenty of 970 boards in the 4.5-5.0 range.

That is just what i bought, i managed to get it even when it was just a bit over my budget

Here it's despite being a bit slower chipset as good or noticeable better than asrock and msi 990fx mb (Sandra memory bandwith) http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/asus-970-pro-gaming-aura-motherboard,4557-3.html

Thats part of reason i went with a Sabertooth r2.0

I blew up 2 990FX Extreme 9's.
Asus owns the market on 990FX boards.

I also smoked an extreme 9 at work, the gb ud5 isn't bad for the bump in money, but as far as bang for the buck goes the Asus @Mr.Scott linked is the best bet.

Yeah I'd probably have a Extreme 4 or 6 by AsRock.
