Best CPU I can buy without upgrading motherboard..?

Well right now i have a amd phenom x4 9150e at 1.8ghz.. its pretty slow when i run some games like skyrim and company of heroes and starcraft 2.. so i was wondering what would be the best cpu i could buy without upgrading the mobo??
i was told by a friend that the AMD Phenom II X4 840 would be a good choice. But also i was suggested the AMD A6-3650 Llano 2.6GHz.

what do you think about these choices? and any other suggestions are more than welcome. Id like to stick to newegg or amazon, as they are both very reputable companys with personal experience with.

Llano doesn't work in the same socket as Phenom chips. Do you know the model number of your board?

Oh, im sorry, I forgot to say what motherboard I have. According to cpu-z, its a pegatron narra3.

Also known as the M2N68-LA. I had the predecessor you can have AM2+ processors, and some low power AM3 cpus. Nothing at all over 95W. I know for a fact the Phenom II 925 works fine in that mobo
