Hi guys ,
im looking for a new gaming mouse since my deathadder is now dead, i can spend $60 at most and so far i have this list ,
https://www.zmart.cl/scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=64694 prodigy 203
https://www.zmart.cl/scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=52096 G402 Hyperion Fury
https://www.zmart.cl/scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=54746 G302 Daedalus Prime
https://www.zmart.cl/scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=54745 G300s
https://www.zmart.cl/scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=32232 SteelSeries WoW MMO Gold Edition
https://www.zmart.cl/scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=52095 G502 Proteus
(30.000 pesos = 50 USD )

https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/24915-mouse-gamer-g-pro-optico-usb
https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/24548-mouse-gamer-g403-optico-usb
the g403 i can get second hand on a forum for 20 bucks
i could also get the Corsair m65 for $52
https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/25368-mouse-gamer-m65-pro-usb-black
last but not least
https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/24344 Corsair Harpoon

My top choices are the G403 and the G502 because they have the PMW3366 sensor from pixart, but i dont know if the other mice have it which is supposed to be the best. The idea is to find a good value. Steelseries MMO mouse seems solid too. I usually play RTS, RPGs and CSGO . What would you recommend me?
Looking forward to hearing from you

g502.
steelseries sensei are nice too
g403 is nice, but costs more than g502 for wireless, and wired is not worth choosing over g502
m45 corsair are nice

i always say, if you can google "best gaming mice" and come up with Several lists , from several different sources that have a common mouse, or mice, those are your best bets. the G502 falls in that category. Google "best gaming mice" and if it Doesnt have the G502, its likely a list made by someone who doesnt know theyre business. is there other great mice, Yes, ofc. but for $50, and being on just about Every top 10 mice list over the past several years, you cant beat it. ultimately, its uo to you to decide what works best for you. the G502 is a smaller mouse for me, but to others its bigger, its light to me, to others its heavy...you get the point

If you can find one, I'd take G400s more than anything else. Had this almost for 4 years and I'd rather die than change my mouse. :D

Just simply the most perfect mouse ever.

For the money I can't be happier with the G.Skill MX780. Came from a G500 which started the random double click issue so needed something that I could game with but wouldn't kill my bank account. Grabbed the MX780 on a trial and haven't looked back. The only gripe I would say I have with it I wish it was longer so I wasn't resting my backside of palm/wrist on the table/mouse pad all the time.

ok thx, according to this so called expert's list the G402 is the best of them all, at least for all around, for FPS he recommends smaller mouse or medium size, not large. I even measured my hand to check which size i should get but shouldnt be too concerned about that because i dont play FPS that much. The g502 is 63 dollars here so its a bit over the budget, and considering i could get the wired version of G403 for less than half the normal price, it should be no a no brainer, right? i didnt understand your sentence, why do you think wired is not convenient?
i couldnt find the G400 nor the Gskill in my country, and Snsei RAW is out of stock.

My 2 cents is to go for the G403 over the G502 just due to the weight.

I went from a Deathadder Elite to a G403 wireless and it didn't cause me any grief. I got used to the ergonomics within an hour or two - quite similar in shape to the Deathadder.

That would be my first recommendation (I use one myself) but they don't list them at his retailers.

I replaced a broken DeathAdder 2013 with a Logitech G Pro and I'm very happy with it. Best performance per value if you ask me.

I say go with the one that "feels" best in your hands. What feels great in my hand may feel awkward or even painful in yours.

Believe me he cant go wrong with the G502.

@jboydgolfer has big Hands but as i can see he likes the Mouse, i have medium Hands and it perfectly fits and a friend of mine has lets say the Hands a little bit smaller than mine and it fits very well too so just if you have a Baby hands you could complaint otherwise :peace:

What does jboydgolfer, you, or your friend have to do with this? None of you are foxslink.

Mice (and keyboards) are extremely personal HIDs (human interface devices) - extensions of our own hands. It is not just about "fit", it is about "feel" and personal preferences. And it is not just about how it fits in the hand either. How it causes the user to position his or her wrist on his or her desk all play into what is the best mouse for him or her.

No doubt the G502 is a quality mouse. But that does not make it the right mouse for foxslink.

We can comment on build quality, tracking, and such but foxslink needs to visit local computer shops and play touchy-feely for himself.

What does jboydgolfer,
Have you never read mouse specifications? Gaming, mmo, & jboydgolfer

Its best to get hands on tho. You never know until you hold it. Which is why i try to use an etailer with fast returns when trying new mice

Exactly! If you live near a big city, there's usually some big electronics stores you can check out. Just make sure you've had your flu shots and take hand sanitizer with you! ;)

This is true. Only thing that really matters. Not the sensor or the coating or the cord or the brand name. It has to be comfortable so you can actually use it. I haven't found a substitute I really like for my Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse. EC2A is close but uncomfortable long term for me. I usually use the Basic Optical for most things and the EC2A when I play a competitive FPS game. If the EC2A was a bit narrower it would be perfect. I have wondered before if it would be possible to put this shell over a cheap gaming mouse to get a better sensor.

ok guys thx for the replies, i went for the forum user was selling for 20 bucks, went to his place to try it out and it seemed ok and had a nice fit , so now that im using it i find the middle mouse button click to be failing at times, maybe its because i hanvt installed the driver yet. The seller said he went for a zowie and he got it from overseas, and that this g403 was barely used for a month, it seems in good shape so i believe him. Lets hope it wont have any issues and i wont regret going for a new one x). What DPI should i set it to?

you have to find the right settings for you and depends on the game too.
I have a Corsair m90 and i use 2400dpi but sometimes is too much on certain games so i modify the sensibility in the game.

ok guys thx for the replies, i went for the forum user was selling for 20 bucks, went to his place to try it out and it seemed ok and had a nice fit , so now that im using it i find the middle mouse button click to be failing at times, maybe its because i hanvt installed the driver yet. The seller said he went for a zowie and he got it from overseas, and that this g403 was barely used for a month, it seems in good shape so i believe him. Lets hope it wont have any issues and i wont regret going for a new one x). What DPI should i set it to?
Dpi is extremely user based. One person can like a very slow mouse with a lot of travel, and another person can like very fast mouse with very little travel. I would recommend that you decrease the Microsoft windows mouse acceleration (control panel/hardware/mouse settings), after increasing the dpi within the mouse's software. Logitech generally has a switch where you can have a couple different dpi profiles, I recommend slow medium and fast. I generally stick with the fastest I'm comfortable with. Dpi also depends heavily on what your resolution is, as a very high resolution will require a higher setting then a lower resolution, since there are fewer pixels in the latters display.

Incidentally, logitech has extremely good support. Depending on how willing the person you purchase the mouse from is to help you, you may have a very easy time of initiating a replacement as long as that seller still has proof of purchase, and is willing to go through the process with you or for you rather. I had an issue where my Logitech G502 was left clicking easier than it should have, so I contacted logitech support, they asked for my proof of purchase, and once I provided it ,they mailed me out a brand new mouse , i didn't even have to send in the old one. If there is actually an issue with yours, hopefully it will be just as easy for you. Enjoy the new mouse

I have the g502 and the g402 so I will be biased. The g402 feels great in my hand but the two best things for me about the mouse is the software and the customer service from Logitech.
