Best program for music playback?

I use MediaMonkey doesn't take that many resources, plays pretty much any codec, its an open source player and ppl make a crap ton of nifty addons for it, plus its pretty user friendly & customizable ;)

I like MediaMonkey too. It can be as easy or as complicated as you want it to be.

yeah just tell me if there is an program like power DVD 9 and power DVD 10 can run clear surround speaker with full support for dolby pro and true theater surround

Like some have said earlier, winamp fits the bill perfectly. I really like the plugins that they have. If you use it vanilla, its just another player, but when you put in dfx etc, the experience goes to another level. You can even get a plugin that fetches lyrics for you at the start of a song, thats just bliss!

I've been using foobar2000. Not as pretty as some, but I have it customized the way I like, and it plays all my flac and ogg files without issue.

WMP or WinAMP are some of the well known music players
