The Steps I go Through:

- Double Click my shortcut

- Loads up a black screen for any between 3-10 Seconds.

- Black Screen, ^^That error occurs^^

My Computer (not many stuff, not just ask what u wanted to know)

PENT 4 3.00 GHz

512MB Ram

120G Disk space.

Pretty STOCK GFX card, if you can find me a good GFX thats works with PCI-e than ill buy it. as long as its real compatible, and wont screw up anything too seriously.

Intel(R) 82865G Graphics (i dont know if this it, so just accept it, or tell me how i can find out)
I can run World of Warcraft, Counter-strike, but not Battlefield, so my card isnt horrible, its just, acceptable.

Video?Card? Not sure, you'll have to tell me how i can check, in that case, i probably dont! =D
Ask what you want to know, thanks for ANY helped, very appreciated, if i need something new on my computer, ill gladly go out and buy it.:)

i hear there is an windows update fix...some flaw with memory access. also i hear disableing voip makes the game not crash.

Do you have a video card for games?

Edited, with some answers to some questions ;)

Its about 10 PM here, alittle late, could this be a demo problem? im definetly considering buying the real game, but while im at it, ill get a nice GFX card, i checked out the Sys Reqs, and im not sure which one to get for the real version of them game, there are some Demo system reqs. but no real requirments, im looking for something under $200, PCI compatible, and will most of all, WORK!

Thanks, i hope i get some help soon -.-

Second time trying a Battlefield game, im almost certain its Graphics card issues, which isnt very serious, last time i went and bought an AGP card for a PCI motherboard, now im less naive. =P

No i dont, but im in no mood in seriously takeing apart my computer, sorry. I'd rather try spending my money simply on a PCI card. in that case, know of any cards that work with Battlefield (and almost all other games) under $200? i dont wanna buy a card that only works with battlefield, i want to use my money for a lot of cool new games, in the future.

If the game doesnt run, im almost sure its about my card, i can play all the other video games, so it cant be my video card, sorry out of the question. so i need a link to a nice graphics card!

Thanks!:D Nice site, im loveing the feedback.

Hey that is the same problem I have. Dose anyone know how to fix it?

if i we're you i would go look for a agp or pci-e mobo rather than buying a old pci card

But it will still work? even with the "old" pci card? i may pay the money for the new board, but i just dont feel like takeing apart my computer.:ohwell:
