Hi

Yepp, you read it right. I'm looking for some sort of "program to modify a bios (*.rom file that is) before flashing it.

I have a "BIOS Savior" , but it only works with them rectangular type of EEPROM's.
I just feel so bored today and since I have screwd the BIOS once, why not do some more fooling around??

So... Does anyone know a good one , with like perhaps a graphical user interface or similar?
And yes, I have 1 or 2, d/l from somewhere on the net (virus free , but not "free) they seem to be some type of Shareware, and I can't save the *.rom file.

Btw , does anyone know any company that still has a couple of them DigiDoc5 things to sell? Seems like the manufacturer stopped making them (damn!).

Have a nice day! :)

here it is, along with winflash

What type of BIOS? Award? Ami? Phoenix? etc?

I have AMI bios. (Dunno, is that good or bad??) On the system before this , I had one of them "AMD XP" cpu's and that one had AWARD. Thought that was good, since then I could use the Bios savior.

out of luck with ami, modbin only works with award/phoenix
