So I have a great audio system on my HDTV Yamaha RX-V571 and good speakers. But I also want wireless headphones

They have to be powered from Toslink/Optical That's all my TV has as an output. I don't want to run them off my AVR as it cuts out the speakers. Yes I want both and separate volumes.

Ive been using a Headset from Turtle Beach but they constantly break and distance is horrible.

So I'm trying Bluetooth

I bought a Nolan TRX HDM2 Transmitter. An for now just a cheap pair of head phones. The distance is great. All threw the house.

Problem: Delay. It has a slight delay. Can't adjust anything out but is this normal for Bluetooth?
I tried two headsets. One was better then the other
So I'm not sure if its the transmitter or the head sets

Any recommendations for Bluetooth headphones?

Ideas?

I bought one of these a while ago, but despite being very careful with them, the swivel between the headband and left earpiece broke (a common failure point, according to reviews). A little lacking in the bass (can be somewhat corrected with EQ), but otherwise pretty nice for the price. The battery they use is actually some Nokia cell phone battery (they include a ~300mAh no-name battery, but you can buy a ~700mAh Nokia battery for $5 and it'll last nearly a week with moderate use). Pretty decent microphone on it too.

When those broke, I bought these on Amazon Prime Day, which I did not like. Bass was muddy (but definitely there), mids were quiet, and I think highs were pretty undefined. Wouldn't recommend them, only use them when I want to listen to whatever with absolutely zero cables. They're okayish for something cheap, but not better than the above.

Since then, I purchased a SoundBlaster E5 and a set of AKG K553 cans which I very much like together, but that's certainly not price competitive to something a bit more all-in-one.

All of these had no sync issues with my phone or laptop and I kind of doubt the receiver is to blame. Looking up specs on that transmitter, I see low-latency as one of the (many) features of it though. Between the two, I'd suspect the headset.
Perhaps try a different Bluetooth headphone/headset (if available)?

So the SoundBlaster E5 have Bluetooth transmitters?

Wow I wish I could use USB First Ill try a new set of headphones

Well I ordered a set of headphones and a Bose Wave Bluetooth adapter. Ill see what going on and just send back the other

Well after doing some reading. BT does have some latency. Its slight but I will try these new headphones and if its not acceptable I'll go back to RF. I do like the range this transmitter has through so I hope it's acceptable
