Bricked 970 trying to find a copy of NVflash for DOS

Hi, I recently went through the mistake of not doing much research and flashing a Galax HOF 970 onto my Gigabyte G1 970 for more performance instead of taking the good old advice of just modding the bios myself . As many of you know the current graphics card market is really messed up right now so I cant really purchase a new one, I went through many ways of trying to revive my 970 back. One of which was to flash the default bios back using Nvflash in DOS, but in the newer versions despite using x64 or x86 bit versions of NVFlash it tells me "This program cannot be run in DOS" So I am here to beg for a version of NVflash that is compatible with a GTX 970 as well as being able to run in DOS. Any other troubleshooting steps would be appreciated aswell. Thanks (Note:970 is only detected in gpuz and device manager when doing the --list command in nvflash it is not detected i am currently using a 2ndary pcie graphics card)

Left side, scroll down the versions to NVIDIA NVFlash 5.163 for DOS

Hi after trying this booting without the 2ndary graphics card doing -a would tell me "No NVIDIA video adapters were found" would this mean the card is fully bricked or am i able to try to work around it?

you may be able to flash it, you can force a flash to the adapter id, make sure you don't force flash to the adapter with the secondary graphics card look for a guide online as I cant remember how to do it

Im sorry to disturb you but I was unable to find a guide online do u mind helping me find one?

If you can boot with a secondary card, then why not flash in windows? Maybe this nvflash version doesn’t support the 970

Then it's possible that it is not detected by NVFlash under DOS either

The GTX 970 is how old now, I am amazed it still works

My RTX 2080 is getting long in the tooth too
What year is it, where you live? That you are amazed that a 970 still works?
