BSOD - Registry Error

Hi all! So for the past few weeks I haven't been able to start my computer for more than a minute in normal mode without a BSOD. Here are the methods I have gone through to alleviate the issue:

1. chkdisk - No effect

2. Clean Boot - No effect

3. Memtest - Registered no errors

I can however start up and run in Safe Mode with Networking without any issues. (Note: My computer is overclocked and hyper-threaded. I removed the overclock, but it had no effect on the performance.)

My BlueScreenView and MiniToolBox files are both attached.

Any ideas?? Thanks!

Can you list the full system specs so that we can get a better idea of what you have? Have you tried replacing any components with spares?

Your BSOD code is 0X000000051

Here's the Google search I did for it: https://www.google.com/search?q=0x0...j5.399j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8

There is a hotfix available that might help, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/810558

This thread makes a few good suggestions too: http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-hel...dows-7-pro-sp1-registry-error-0x00000051.html

+1 to listing your full system specs, OS version, etc. I did only look at your BSOD log file.

Run a Diskchk /R (I know you already ran one, so you can skip this)

Run SFC /SCANNOW

Report back.

Specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit SP1
Intel Core i3 CPU 530 @ 2.93 GHz (Dual Core--Hyper-threaded)
8 GB DDR3 240-Pin 1600 RAM
Radeon HD 5670 1GB
Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2H Motherboard
2 1TB HDD's
1 64 GB SSD for Windows 7

Only change was a RAM upgrade from 4GB to 8GB back in 2013.

sfc /scannow found no integrity violations.

The fact it doesn't BSOD in safe mode indicates a driver error.
Up date all drivers and see if it helps, it may have been a recent update causing it too.

Fixed it. CMOS Default Settings worked fine after determining there was no actual disk errors. Thank you guys so much for the quick support! That was crazy fast! I'll be back if it happens again!

Or a hardware issue as they are disabled without the driver. Remove any hardware you can, or recently installed

It could be a DVD drive, sata cable, sound card, hot swap drive bay ect
