I was wondering if the Sandisk SSD plus 240gb solid state and HHD WD blue 1 TB desktop hard drive 3.5" 7200 RPM, Sata 6 64 MB cache is going to be enough for pc gaming. I'm planning on downloading probably a few game there and there. But I'm not sure if these ssd and hhd are good enough.

Not all PC games will run under Linux, though it may still be an option, depending on what games you want to play.

Gotta say as much as I love Linux there is so much confusing and befuddling crap in using it because nothing is standardized. Only real things I've seen that have a good number of packages configured are Debian based or if not probably red hat. Gotta say if you wanna game go with Windows 10 you'll be 12 hours into configuring Linux before your doing anything.
