Maybe im dumb but today i cracked open the key to my bicycle lock. It contained two L1131 button batteries. Since they were the same size and diameter of a single LR44 battery that i had, i replaced the L1131's with them but for some reason. the LED on the key would light up unless i swapped the battery back to the L1131s.
can anyone tell me why this is the case? Maybe the single LR44 doesnt supply enough voltage?? L1131s are 1.55v while the single LR44 is 1.5v ??? but i should still get SOME sort of effect from having half the power right?? I really dont get it.
