Can 6950 "xfx HD-695X-CDFC" ver A.0 be unlocked to 6970

Hi.
I have been trying to ulock this card using, I think, all of the methods without any success. So am I doing something wrong or the card just isn't unlockable? Please can anyone help me with this.

in my experience the unlocking procedure only works on reference cards like the HD-695A-CNFC

Not all CDFC cards will mod. I have a 2GB card that modded fine, erocker has 2 1GB cards that unlocked...

If you haven't had any success unlocking so far then I would consider it unlikely you are just overlooking something and assume your card is simply not unlockable.

Just wanted to say that I have successfully unlocked my card.
I had to use atiflash instead of winflash.

Would "CNFC" cards be preferred for flashing purposes?
I'm looking at buying one that is Mfr# HD-695X-CNFC (apparently)

I think that the only thing that matters is that card isn't laser cut. If it isn't laser cut every card could be unlock in one way or another, but if it's cut then, i think, there's no way to unlock it. So to avoid laser cuting, I think, you should buy cards manufactured before mid 2011 (i'm not sure about it, but that's the general date I found on the forums).
