It seems that I will have my hands on a GTX570 soon.
Currently I have a GTX460 with a Corsair TX-750 power supply but I'm not sure if it can handle both cards (460+570).
According to SLI ZONE my psu can handle a pair of GTX470 in SLI, and nVidia says that graphic power in each case are:
So, if the difference between 470 & 570, is 4W only; and my psu can handle two GTX470 in SLI. Then I suppose it can also handle two GTX570 in SLI, which means should not be a problem having a 460+570, or am I wrong?
I'm doubtful becuase this psu calculator says that my system 100% peak loaded with two gtx470 needs a psu (minimum/recommended) of 692/742W, and with two gtx570 needs a 762/812W psu.
The power difference between 570 and 460 is 69w=(219w-150w).
If remove 69w from those 762/812w, then it would be 693/743w right?
I think that 570 + 460 for gamming has no sense... but for folding
Any opinion/sugestion is welcome.-
